SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA (September 18, 2006) – Clay Andrews Racing development driver Randel King continues to amaze stock car veterans in the ASA Speed Truck Challenge with his 3 rd place finish at Orange Show Speedway on Saturday night. Randel, a former karting champion has already posted five Top 5 finishes in only 8 races ever in a full size stock car/truck.

Randel's strong showing has him atop the leader board in Rookie of the Year honors for the ASA Speed Truck Challenge and the respect of the veterans he is racing with. Multi-time ASA Speed Truck Challenge champion Lee Hatch is amazed by his progress:

“For a 15 year old, his poise and patience are like nothing I've seen, I've raced him hard and he's unflappable. I'm not going to be able to hold him off too much longer as he gets more comfortable in that truck.'
